All our studios are equipped with Ikegami HD cameras mounted with Canon HD lenses.

1. TV1 is a 71’ x 41’ x 16’ studio with 6 Ikegami HD cameras and a jib arm.

2. TV2 is a 60’ x 30’ x 14’ studio with 5 Ikegami HD cameras and a jib arm.

The TV Studios at Manhattan Center are fully HD. The two principal studios—TV1 and TV2—easily accommodate both stage and studio audiences.

Television productions are managed by a Grass Valley Kayenne Switcher and a Ikegami HSS-300 HD switcher both control rooms are equipped with Miranda Multi-viewers to control the monitor walls. Both studios have Reidel digital matrix intercom systems and Reidel Acrobat wireless intercom. The fully digital infrastructure of the facility includes a fiber backbone and HD transmission capabilities finished media can be provided in any format.

TV-1 and TV-2 are self-contained studios complete with private lobbies, green rooms, dressing rooms, hair and make-up facilities, turnkey production offices, adjacent editing suites, and support spaces.

Both control rooms are fully integrated with The Hammerstein and The Grand and also our audio recording studios, enabling the broadcasting and videotaping or media capturing of any event to be handled completely in-house.
