Manhattan Center’s studio-1 is an exceptional studio, located in the heart of Manhattan across the street from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station, and immediately adjacent to the Hammerstein Ballroom, with convenient access directly off 34th street. Studio 1 is a unique sound stage with its own private entrance on 34th street. There is an audience support space as you enter into the studio 1 lobby. Our additional support space of four dressing rooms, two make up and hair stations along with two spacious green rooms will make you feel right at home. There is a kitchen area where meals can be set up for your talent and crew. There is a private viewing area where you can look right into the studio. We can also provide production office space if needed.

The adjacent HD/SD Control Room is equipped with a Kalypso 4 ME Switcher, a fully routable monitor wall featuring under monitor displays (UMD’s) and an internationally acclaimed Reidel digital matrix intercom system. The Control Room and facility also features connectivity to the Hammerstein Ballroom & Grand Ballroom, making it unnecessary to retain the services of a mobile truck. An Ikegami HSS-300 HD Switcher can be put in place and the control room is now ready for HD multi-camera productions.
